Doctrine of God
I believe that God is a Trinity; that God
the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit make up the Godhead;
that these are three distinct personalities yet one God, co-equal
and co-eternal.

God the Father
I believe that God the Father is Father only to those who receive
Jesus Christ as Savior; that He is perfect in holiness, infinite
in wisdom, and measureless in power; that He concerns Himself mercifully
in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; that He
is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutable, infinite, eternal,
transcendent, imminent, self existent and that He alone is the object
of our worship and praise.

Timothy 2:5
God the Son
I believe that God the Son is the Creator and Sustainer
of all creation; that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born
of the virgin Mary; that He is God manifest in the flesh, very God
and very man; that He was sent by the Father for the purpose of
being the perfect sinless sacrifice for the sins of mankind; that
He died in our stead, was buried and rose again the third day according
to the Scriptures, gaining victory over death for us; that He is
the object of our faith; that He is the only way to the Father;
that He is ever living to intercede for us; that He is imminently
coming for the saints; that He will judge all believers; that He
will reign as King of kings on earth for 1000 years; and that He
will judge evil works of darkness at the end time.

God the Holy Spirit
I believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, equal with the
Father and Son and of the same nature; that He convicts the world
of sin, righteousness, and judgment; that He bears witness to the
Truth; that He is the agent of the New Birth; that He baptizes all
true believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sanctifying
all of them, sealing and thus securing them unto the day of redemption;
that He indwells, guides, teaches, and helps believers; and that
it is the privilege and obligation of all the saved to be filled
with (controlled by) the Spirit, the fruit of such filling being
love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness
and temperance. The Holy Spirit gifts all believers, but I believe
that the sign gifts were temporary in nature, given only to the
apostolic church. In relation to the evil world, the Holy Spirit
restrains the evil one until God’s purpose is fulfilled.
